The inspiration for this piece came from one of my old portfolio pieces, "Barren Lands" I wanted to keep the general idea of it but after coming across a cover for the Horizon: Zero Dawn theme song it really just spoke to me you could say so I had that on repeat for the most part along with songs similar to that while working away at this and I wanna say I did a pretty good job capturing the vibe the song gave off.

As I've been very busy with work lately I find myself having very little time to work on my portfolio but it is slowly getting chipped away at when I do manage to find a spare moment or two to get some sort of work done. I'm hoping by the end of the year at the very latest to have the portfolio completely redone. Currently I'm in the works of a second piece which is coming together really nicely and I'm looking forward to sharing the end results!
